Texas Venomous Creatures is a non-profit public charity under 501(c)(3) status 509(a)(2)
EIN: 42-3738563
We are dedicated to delivering high‑quality wildlife safety education directly to Texas schools and communities. Our mission is to teach students how to stay safe outdoors while inspiring respect and conservation for the native species that make Texas unique.
Our Goal is to reach 10,000 individuals a year per mobile exhibit.
We operate a fully self‑contained mobile exhibit built on a durable Freightliner MT‑55 step‑van chassis. Instead of requiring schools to travel or host special events, we bring the entire educational experience directly to the school campus, making it accessible to every student.
Inside the exhibit, students explore realistic Texas environments filled with both hazards and harmless look‑alikes. Through guided lessons, hands‑on identification challenges, and dramatic red‑light hazard reveals, students learn how to recognize dangerous species, avoid risky encounters, and understand the ecological importance of these creatures.
All programs are free of charge to schools and public groups. We operate entirely through donations, sponsorships, and community support.
Safety is our highest priority. No live venomous animals are ever handled. All live specimens remain fully enclosed and are present solely for safe identification and conservation education.
Texas Venomous Creatures exists to protect students, empower communities, and preserve the wildlife that keeps Texas ecosystems healthy. Donor support allows us to expand our reach, improve our exhibits, and bring life‑saving education to thousands of children each year.
